Spark Festival

Just found out that I'll be performing at this years Spark Festival, a festival of electronic music and art put on by the University of Minnesota. Also happy to hear that my friend the blinky wizard Todd Polenberg will be going out as well to present an art piece. We'll probably do a Skillcrane show or a Hobotech party as well while we're out there. More details soon...

In the studio...

Doing a few days playing guitar (normal and laptop-mangled) for a new record by Alita St. James. The band is incredible! Allison Cornell (violin/viola), Tony Lewis (drums), Al MacDowell (bass) and Pete Drungle (pete) who wrote the music as well. Don't have time to add links right now, but if you don't know these people, look them up. A pleasure and an honor to be working with all of them...

Hobotech

The hobotech movement has begun. The inaugural party at this years burning man was a success. I debuted about an hour's worth of new tracks, remixes and mashups, and all was hobo. I've been recieving a lot of great responses, and am assembling a hobo army to put on new york's first hobotech event. Stay tuned.

They are oriented towards people wanting to get more familiar with the possibilities of performing and prodcuing with Ableton Live. Event is free and begins at 7pm.

Bearded Recluse

I have temporarily relocated my studio to a cabin in westchester county where I am finishing tracks all day. It's nice. If it wasn't for the free haircut that I lucked into, god knows what I would look like by the end of it. I'll finally be finishing the EP that I've been producing for Bless for the last year, and I'll also be polishing off lots of other stuff.

Book of the Storm

(That's me making the sonic mayhem at the opening of Spacious Skies). You can read some great reviews of it here.
